This weekend we went to the Ganyard Farm Pumpkin Patch
Elliot fed hungry goats
Then scoped out a pumpkin hunting strategy with his Dad
He put a lot of effort into finding just the right pumpkin
Checking them for color, shape, size and texture . . .
Unable to find just the right one, he stared off into the field, wondering if the right pumpkin was out there
He walked for miles in the hot sun and rough terrain in search of the right pumpkin
Finally he found just the right pumpkin. It had a soft white spot where the stalk had connected that was just starting to rot through, allowing him to stick his fingers inside the pumpkin.
Exhausted by satisfied, he boarded the wagon for his first hay ride.
And then climbed into his Radio Flyer Town and Country to further explore his pint size, gooey treasure.
